Meet your coach
Dr. Pete Paciorek
Head of Leadership and Character Development
Dr. Pete Paciorek (Coach Pete) has been involved in sports, coaching, and mentoring students for the past 30 years. Coming from a family of 11 professional athletes, he was a professional baseball player for 9 years in the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres organizations. Coach Pete holds a doctoral degree in Character Education and Servant Leadership, with a focus on developing and empowering young students to thrive in life. He is the Head of Leadership & Character Development at IMG Academy. He is a 2-time author and was awarded the prestigious “Champion for Character in Sports” award presented by Character.org.
Dr. Marr has coached at all levels, from high school champions in Michigan to college teams at Baylor and Missouri. His athletes have earned over 50 NCAA All-American honors and multiple national titles.
He’s passionate about helping athletes build a winning mindset on and off the field. Dr. Marr lives in Marquette, Michigan, with his wife and two sons.

In the course community, you can interact with other student- athletes and the coach facilitator in real time. However, the course lessons and workshops are not live. We know student-athletes are always stretched for time, so we want to ensure that everyone can learn at their own pace and on their own schedule. Stay tuned for some live programming coming soon for those interested!
