About the Episode

Dr. Emily Wright
Mental Performance Coach
Emily received her Ph.D. in Sports Psychology with a concentration in youth sports parenting from Michigan State University. At Michigan State, Emily provided mental performance training services to the DI women’s tennis team and youth hockey teams in the surrounding area. Currently, Emily is an Assistant Professor at Miami University (Ohio), where she teaches and mentors students in Sport Psychology. Emily joined the IMG+ team in October 2021 as a mental performance coach and is currently working with various athletes from various sports (tennis, golf, soccer, hockey, swimming, and basketball). Outside of work, Emily enjoys watching hockey, exercising, and spending time with her husband, Zack, in Oxford, Ohio.
